Danny Moses has had a passion for the markets as long as he can remember. Always fascinated by numbers – and with his father having been a finance professor – Danny was able to use those skills and experiences to lead him to a successful Wall Street career as chronicled in The Big Short (Michael Lewis, 2010). Never one to shy away from taking on risk or expressing his views, he combines this with his “outside the box” thinking to provide a unique perspective on the markets. Learn more about Danny.

While Danny considers himself an optimist, he was upset when Adam McKay, director for the movie The Big Short, portrayed Danny as a happy go lucky guy on Wall Street, which deviated from Michael Lewis’ portrayal of Danny in the book. While he wasn’t able to have creative control of his character in the movie, he convinced McKay to let him have a walk-on part in the movie but, sadly, it ended up on the cutting room floor.
